Pen & Wall is a small Swedish poster studio that I, Oscar Rydergård, run in my spare time.
I make posters about your people: a letter to someone you love, your initials and the day you met, or a classic recipe signed with your grandma's name at the bottom (the recipe is the same on every poster – it is not your grandma's own). You write the words – I do the layout and check every order by hand before it goes to print.
How the posters are made
- Every poster is printed only after you order, on matte paper by our print partner Gelato. There is no stock.
- Gelato prints at a printer close to you whenever possible. We currently ship to Sweden and the USA, and most orders are printed in the same country they are delivered to. Shipping is included in the price.
- The fonts are openly licensed. The handwriting on the recipe poster is a font, not a real person's handwriting.
- A few illustrations (the line drawings of the bakes and the swallow on the stamp) were created with AI assistance and refined by me. Everything else – frames, patterns, stamp and postmark – is made digitally for Pen & Wall, without image generation.
- The apple pie is a classic recipe that I have written out in my own words.
Pen & Wall is a hobby project. There is no registered company and I am not VAT registered in Sweden, so no VAT is added to the prices. Read more in our FAQ, terms of service, shipping policy, refund policy and privacy policy.
